Dr.Manish Shakdwipee, Senior Manager at Ecofirst for Energy and Climate Change, and CMVP and EVO approved trainer made a presentation on "Monitoring and Evaluating Energy Efficiency Savings at an International Training Course on "Eco-efficient and sustainable urban infrastructure" organized at International Urban Training Centre (IUTC) in South Korea. The Course was jointly organized by the International Urban Training Centre, the United Nations Human Settlements Program (UN-HABITAT) and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN-ESCAP). The objective of the program was to build the capacity of participants in planning and developing infrastructure in an integrated way, taking into account eco-efficiency and sustainability principles.
The Pune ASHRAE chapter invited Mr Rakesh Bhatia, Vice President at Ecofirst to deliver a lecture on “Living Building Challenge” on 19th Nov 2010 at Hotel Le Meridien, Pune as part of the annual conference “PARC-10”. Rakesh is a voluntary Ambassador for the Living Building Challenge program for the Cascadia Green Building council based out of Seattle, USA.
